Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I get my dental cleans done?

It is recommended to visit your dentist every six months for a good clean! This helps keep track of your oral health and detect any tooth decay and oral diseases early on.

Are dental x-rays safe? Why are they necessary?

Dental x-rays are safe for both children and adults! They allow dentists to have a comprehensive assessment of your mouth below the surface of your gums and teeth. They help detect diseases or conditions (e.g. tooth decay, bone loss, fractures, abscesses, cysts, tumours etc.) that may not be visible to the naked eye.

A toothache may be caused by a variety of different causes, the most common being tooth decay. We would be happy to see you for an appointment to fix that toothache!

Dose Medicare cover dental treatment?

Medicare does not cover dental services for adults. However, a Medicare program for children called the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) covers up to $1000 of general dental services within a two year period for eligible children aged 0-17 years.

Do you accept health fund?
